Mr. Bryan Schneck
PRINCIPAL, TEACHER GRADES 5-8
Mr. Bryan Schneck was born and raised in Benton Harbor, Michigan. He attended Michigan Lutheran High School in St. Joseph, Michigan, and went on to attend Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN where he trained for the teaching ministry, receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 1990. It was at DMLC where he met his wife Deanna. They were assigned from DMLC to St. John’s Lutheran Church and School in Antigua, West Indies in 1990. Over the course of their 14 years in Antigua, Mr. Schneck has served in several positions as a grades 2-4 teacher, grade 5-6 teacher, staff minister for music and outreach, and headmaster at St. John’s Lutheran School. In 2004 Mr. Schneck accepted a call to serve as principal and teacher of grades 7-8 at Faith Lutheran School in Anchorage, Alaska. Mr. Schneck served at Faith until 2016, when he accepted the call to serve as grade 6-8 teacher and principal here at Zion. He currently teaches grades 5-8 and serves as principal. He currently holds a Master’s Degree in Science Education.
Mr. Schneck enjoys fishing and the outdoors, and pretty much anything science or history related. He and his wife have four grown children.
