Mrs. Stacey Sordahl

TEACHER - KINDERGARTEN

Stacey Sordahl grew up in Bay City, MI where she attended Bay City Western High School. After graduation she moved up north to Marquette and attended Northern Michigan University. While in Marquette, Stacey worked at a day care center and  became the director while finishing her degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development.
In 2000, Stacey became the director for Li’l Martians Playcare in Southfield. What started as a daycare for the employees of MARS advertising, became a preschool and young 5’s center, with before and after school care for children up to age 12, serving the community of Southfield. 
She married Steve Sordahl in 2005 and they have three children whom all attend Zion!
Before her call to Zion, she taught with VIPKID and gave ESL (English as a second language) lessons to students in China. She even picked up a little Chinese-Mandarin.  She is acquiring her Synod certification through MLC.
Besides teaching, Stacey writes a humor column on Channillo. She hopes to publish her first novel this summer, followed by some children’s books.
Stacey enjoys cooking, yoga, running, drawing and reading.
